Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Santiago Harrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janis Berzins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Santiago Harrell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Janis Berzins!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berzins shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Berzins closes this distance looking for a takedown but Harrell circles away.

Berzins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harrell swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Harrell might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Berzins is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Harrell doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Berzins.

Berzins misses with a takedown attempt - Harrell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Berzins gets tackled into the cage by Harrell. Harrell maintains the clinch.

Berzins is fighting off a takedown attempt but Harrell is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Berzins to the mat. Berzins regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Harrell is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

That was a close round but I would say that Santiago Harrell will probably get the nod.

Berzins dives in and grabs Harrell's left leg, looking for a takedown. Harrell pushes down on Berzins's head and hops out.

Berzins shoots for a double leg takedown but Harrell sprawls well. He's pushed Berzins's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Berzins wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Harrell manages to pass to side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
