The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Horrible takedown attempt by Hagen or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones, which made it look bad.

Hagen shoots in looking for a takedown but Jones manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hagen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Jones will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hagen up against the cage.

Hagen can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.
