And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phil Brooks!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson swinging wildly here.
Brooks is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Jackson.
Brooks misses with a takedown
and Jackson counters with a one-two to the body.
Brooks goes for a double leg but Jackson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jackson continues to drive forward.
Brooks shoots in but Jackson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Luke Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phil Brooks.

Brooks closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jackson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Brooks asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Brooks is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jackson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Brooks goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Jackson rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Brooks's guard! Nice work there by Jackson!
Brooks is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Jackson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Brooks, up you get!
Jackson lunges at Brooks with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Brooks's hand.

It looks like Phil Brooks has been cut.

Jackson lands a jab to the nose.
Brooks shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jackson defends it nicely.
Brooks looks winded!
Brooks throws a wild hook but Jackson just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Brooks gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Jackson raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
