The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Erich throws a body shot but no joy.
Cheek ducks under a wild hook from Von Erich.
Cheek misses with a body shot.
Cheek fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Von Erich manages to avoid it.
It seemed like Von Erich was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Von Erich tries to work over Cheek's front leg with a kick but Cheek checks it.
Cheek connects with a single shot there.
It looks like David Von Erich has been cut.

We've been told by Cheek's head coaches at Men Only. No Liberals ! that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Von Erich lunges at Cheek with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Cheek's hand.
Cheek swings widly with a right hand
and Von Erich counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Cheek connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Von Erich tries to bum rush Cheek with a series of wild strikes but Cheek uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Cheek is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Von Erich takes a shot to the body in his stride.
BOOM! Cheek lands a beautiful left hook that drops Von Erich. Von Erich tries to recover but Cheek is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Von Erich lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Right Cheek!
Right Cheek retains his heavyweight title!
Right Cheek decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
