The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Skeeles! But no joy.
Skeeles scores with a hook to the body. Alvarez takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

It looks like Jody Alvarez has been cut.

Skeeles wants to pass the guard but Alvarez is keeping the position.
