Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Numbers Holman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dixie West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Holman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. West was covering up waiting for the punch and Holman finishes the takedown easily into guard.

West has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Holman off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Horrible takedown attempt by West or perhaps it was just good defense by Holman, which made it look bad.
Holman shoots in looking for a takedown but West manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Holman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
West shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Holman eats them both and turns towards West to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Numbers Holman has been cut.
West tries to close the distance and clinch but Holman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
West throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

West shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Holman tries to get to full guard but West has control of the leg.

Holman is trying to stand.
Holman is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of West's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take West's back!

Holman lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

West can't escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Holman is trying to stick to West's back but West is turning into Holman. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Holman's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by West.

West stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Holman shoots in but no luck this time.
West dives in for a single leg takedown but Holman sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
West is trying hard to land a takedown here. Holman sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Numbers Holman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dixie West.

West pushes Holman off and scrambles back to his feet.

West looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Holman is fending him off so far but West persists. Nope, Holman circles away and we're back to standing.

Holman closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. West quickly recovers to half guard.

West manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Holman keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Come on West - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Holman jumps guard and drags West to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

West avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Holman wants to get back to his feet but West is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

West stands up from Holman's guard - West perhaps looking for a knockout.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

West has Holman up against the cage in a clinch.
West tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Holman smiles and moves away.

West bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Holman is trying to get back to half guard.

West stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Holman leaves West with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Dixie West seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

West wants to improve his position but instead Holman has moved into half guard.

Holman escapes and gets back to his feet.
Numbers Holman is winning the standup battle so far.
Holman closes the distance and clinches up with West, looking for a takedown. Holman pushes West against the cage but West circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Holman gets to his feet. West looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Dixie West is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Holman shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches West napping and manages to drive through into side control!

West sneaks out the side door and pushes Holman away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Dixie West comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well West has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
