And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roberto Kim!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Jai Setright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from Kim.
Setright has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
A slow jab from Kim misses its intended target.
Setright is looking to counter punch.
Setright just misses with a punch to the body.
Setright bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Setright throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kim counters with a body kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kim.
Nice uppercut there from Kim.
Kim lands a slapping body shot.
Nice uppercut lands for Kim. That snapped Setright's head back.
Setright checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Kim takes a swing at Setright's ribcage but misses.
Kim scores with a jab to the jaw.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Setright cracks Kim with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A nice leg kick lands there from Setright.
Kim has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Setright throws the kick towards the body but Kim avoids it.
Kim takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jai Setright is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Setright throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Kim to counter with a crisp jab.
Setright connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Kim missing with a left hand there. Setright was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Setright looks to throw the jab but Kim is out of range.
Setright connects with a body shot.
A big right from Setright misses.
Kim unleashes a big counter combination but Setright bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Kim uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Setright.
Kim throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Setright dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kim. That did some damage!
Kim throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kim lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Kim connects with a single shot there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Setright looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Setright throws a head kick but Kim moves out of range.
Setright looks to throw the jab but Kim is out of range.
And Kim responds with a good body kick, but Setright manages to step out the way in time.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A chopping leg kick lands by Setright.
Kim misses with a left hand
and Setright counters with a straight right hand.
Setright lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kim circles away quickly and effectively.
Setright backing away here, and Kim unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Kim tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Setright tried to score with a low kick but Kim checks it.
Kim lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Setright lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kim's sensitive parts.
Kim lands a nice shot that snaps Setright's head back.
Setright misses the jab.

Kim cracks Setright with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Setright looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kim finish him?


Setright is rocked!
Are you kidding me?! Kim ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Setright clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Roberto Kim!
Roberto Kim decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
