Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mauro Burnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pentagon Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mauro Burnett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pentagon Jr!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jr changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Burnett looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jr trying to control the position but Burnett is working away.
Burnett tries to strike from the bottom but misses.

Jr is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Burnett knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burnett is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Jr's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Jr wants to free his trapped foot but Burnett is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Jr is looking for a kimura but Burnett is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jr to get the leverage.

Jr wants to work for an arm triangle but Burnett is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jr not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jr throws a strike but Burnett avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Jr has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Burnett has one foot on Jr's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Jr is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Burnett is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Burnett has escaped and now he's on top!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jr is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Burnett is aware though and is defending well.
Burnett has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jr is proving hard to escape from.

Burnett is looking to stand up but Jr won't let him.

Jr is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Burnett defends well.
Jr wants to improve his position but instead Burnett has moved into half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Jr closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Burnett quickly recovers to half guard.

Jr is working for an americana but Burnett has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Jr was thinking about the submission.

Burnett looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jr is one step ahead there.
Jr makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Pentagon Jr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Burnett is not content to let Jr control the position.
Jr throwing shots but Burnett is blocking nicely.

Jr is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Burnett defends it well.

Burnett gets caught napping as Jr dives in and scores a takedown. Burnett manages to retain guard.
Burnett will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Jr is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Jr thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Pentagon Jr comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jr has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
