Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alex pushes Mcintyre up against the cage in a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Mcintyre takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Alex pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Alex throws a right hand that Mcintyre ducks under and follows up with a left that Mcintyre also avoids with ease.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Alex.

Alex has closed the distance and engaged Mcintyre in a clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Mcintyre.
Mcintyre tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Alex smiles and moves away.
Kioh Alex seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Alex leaves Mcintyre with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mcintyre is on top in guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Alex is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Mcintyre tries to score a power double leg takedown but Alex sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mcintyre somewhat.

Alex closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mcintyre's guard.

Alex wants to control from the top but Mcintyre keeps moving.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Alex pulls out of a head kick attempt.
As Alex tries to get set, Mcintyre tries to push him back and clinch up but Alex manages to avoid the attempt.

Alex drives through with a takedown into Mcintyre's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Mcintyre is looking to stand back up but Alex counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Mcintyre.

Alex is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Mcintyre reverses the position - he's now on top in Alex's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mcintyre throws a big elbow that misses.

Mcintyre stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Mcintyre misses with a takedown attempt - Alex sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Alex with the counter takedown but Mcintyre avoids it easily.
Alex throws a head kick that misses.
Alex connects with a high kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mcintyre will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Kioh Alex showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Alex has taken the fight to the clinch.

Mcintyre breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Alex closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
