Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pat Miletich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerry Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miletich takes a swing at Smith's ribcage but misses.
Smith tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Miletich was well out of range. Poor timing from Smith.
Smith moves in looking to clinch but Miletich pushes him off.
Smith misses the shot to the body.
Miletich thows a left - swing and a miss!
It seemed like Smith was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Smith tries to clinch up but Miletich circles away and keeps his distance.

Miletich is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Miletich lands with an uppercut that bounces Smith off the cage and back into range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Smith on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Miletich throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Smith stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jerry Smith is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Miletich scores with a hook to the body. Smith takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Miletich cracks Smith with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Smith looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Miletich finish him?
Smith is rocked!
Miletich sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Smith's defenses. It connects perfectly with Smith's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
