These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Evan Berget!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berget swats away the attempt to clinch by Donkashane.
Berget fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Donkashane on the side of the head.
Donkashane doesn't manage to clinch there - Berget circles away.

Donkashane fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Berget sprawls well initially but Donkashane persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Donkashane seems to be working for a kimura but Berget defends the submission attempt.
Berget really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Donkashane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Berget has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Helsinki Athletics Club. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Donkashane drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Donkashane seems to have locked his on tight now - Berget screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Donkashane, as he picks up the win!
