He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughs has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hughs there as he acknowledges the shot.

Man connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hughs. Hughs circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

and Man counters with a straight right hand.

Hughs on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Man lands a nice shot to the body.

Man paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Man lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Hughs sprawling to the canvas. Man follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Hughs hang on?

Man decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Hughs is still on wobbly legs! Can Man finish him?
Man lands a jab to Hughs's midsection.
Hughs leaves his chin hanging out and Man seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Hughs crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
