The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Mcneil sets himself, and Hart steps forward looking for the clinch! Mcneil avoids it this time.
Mcneil misses with a head kick.
Hart with the counter takedown but Mcneil avoids it easily.
Nice body kick there by Mcneil.
Mcneil scores with a nice head shot.
Mcneil fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hart moves out of range of the body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mcneil is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hart's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hart's back!

Hart rolls, trying to escape but Mcneil keeps control of the position.

Mcneil seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Hart's chin but Hart turns very nicely into Mcneil's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Hart.

Mcneil will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hart is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Mcneil has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Hart works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Mcneil moves into full guard.
Hart is stalling in the full guard.
Let's hope that Hart has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Mcneil really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mcneil gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Hart dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Hart tries for a takedown but Mcneil sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mcneil throws a sloppy head kick
and Hart makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Mcneil really felt that one!

Hart changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mcneil looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hart decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Mcneil swings away with a body shot that misses
and Hart comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Mcneil stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Hart is on him like rabid pit bull! Mcneil slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
