Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black feints a jab promting Pankratios to slip. Black then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Pankratios slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Hellas Pankratios has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Black. Pankratios does a little dance to reset his feet.
A slow jab from Black misses its intended target.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Black throws an elbow that misses.
Black's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Black tries to close the distance and clinch but Pankratios swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Black dips to his left and cracks Pankratios with an uppercut!

Black working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Pankratios's head.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Black closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Black is trying to force a seperation but Pankratios has the dominant position.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Black. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Black is pressed up against the cage. Pankratios has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Black down to the mat. Black avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Black has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Black wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Pankratios has him pressed against the cage.

Pankratios shoots for a double leg takedown but Black sprawls well. He's pushed Pankratios's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Black drops back looking for a leg! Pankratios is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pankratios manages to kick Black off! Black jumps back into Pankratios's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Black accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jeez, Hellas Pankratios's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

and Black counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Pankratios tries to move into range but Black moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hellas Pankratios's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
