Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between El Pintos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sunray Spike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spike has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spike thows a left - swing and a miss!
Pintos tries to clinch up.
Spike swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Spike shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pintos eats them both and turns towards Spike to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
A slapping leg kick lands for Spike.
Spike looks to land a body kick but Pintos moved away.
Pintos misses with an uppercut.
Spike throws a head kick that misses.
Spike avoids the head kick by Pintos.
Pintos uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Spike.
Pintos throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Pintos bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Spike's head backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Spike counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Spike ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pintos moves away.

We've been informed that Spike has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Spike takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Spike tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Spike tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Pintos's elbow.

A head punch on the inside from Spike fails to land.
Pintos manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Spike gets through Pintos's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Spike throws a head punch that misses.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Pintos is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Spike fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pintos has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Spike lands a left and a right that send Pintos crashing to the mat, dazed. Spike thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like El Pintos has been cut.

Pintos is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Spike fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pintos looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Spike lands a big head kick that sends Pintos tumbling to the mat! Spike takes a step backwards and waves Pintos back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Oh Pintos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Spike misses with a hook. Pintos ducked under it nicely.

Pintos seems to have got his legs back now.
Spike cracks the inside of Pintos's front leg.
Spike is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Spike is pawing at Pintos, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Pintos's nose. Pintos is badly hurt! Spike pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Pintos tries desperately to hold on but Spike is relentless in his assault! As Pintos receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Spike away and this one is in the books!

Sunray Spike decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
