Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kotetsu Yamamoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ben Miller!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto scores with a body shot.
Miller on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Yamamoto bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Yamamoto fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Miller manages to avoid it.
Yamamoto swings for the body but Miller moves out of range.
Miller lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Yamamoto's jab looks to have found its range, popping Miller under the eye.

Miller uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Yamamoto.

Miller has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Yamamoto seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Miller can turn it around.
Kotetsu Yamamoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Miller.

Yamamoto got a little sloppy there for a moment and Miller has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Yamamoto has managed to get both his arms back between Miller's legs - danger averted.

Yamamoto is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Miller can do to turn this around?

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Miller is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
