Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Angus Jung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Carlton Lassiter!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lassiter takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Jung clinches up with Lassiter and pushes him back against the cage.
Lassiter tries for a takedown but Jung manages to get underhooks.

Jung is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Lassiter is keeping busy.

Jung escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jung misses with a low kick.

Jung has closed the distance and engaged Lassiter in a clinch.

Lassiter pulls Jung in close to his closed guard and prevents Jung from doing any damage or advancing position.
Jung has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Lassiter wants to sweep here but Jung controlling him for the moment.

Lassiter lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jung will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Lassiter is taking a breather. Jung says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
