Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James Richard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Magomedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Richard gets caught napping as Magomedov dives in and scores a takedown. Richard manages to retain guard.

Richard is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Magomedov is aware though and is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Magomedov trying to stand up but can't free himself from Richard's guard.
Magomedov is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Richard looking to hit a scissor sweep but Magomedov is one step ahead there.
Magomedov content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Magomedov gets to his feet. Richard looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Magomedov fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Richard to the ground. Magomedov is now in Richard's guard.

Richard has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Magomedov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Magomedov slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Magomedov wanted to stand there but Richard had control of the position.

Magomedov works over Richard with some ground and pound from guard.
Magomedov tries to free his leg and advance position but Richard is retaining full guard.
Magomedov slips nicely into half guard.
Magomedov looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Magomedov frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Magomedov looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Richard covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
