Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Axl Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aznar Thrul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rose's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, You Could Be Mine. Axl Rose had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thrul tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rose swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Thrul's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Rose drops Thrul with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Thrul looks back up at him and smiles so Rose waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rose uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Thrul.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Thrul.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Axl Rose.
I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
