Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Kingsley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hughtavious Mingo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kingsley comes to the cage accompanied by Alpenglow (instrumental) - Nightwish. James Kingsley could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Hughtavious Mingo's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Kingsley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hughtavious Mingo!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mingo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kingsley.
Kingsley is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mingo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Kingsley is in close to Mingo's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Mingo wants to sweep here but Kingsley controlling him for the moment.
Kingsley stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mingo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kingsley throws an elbow that misses. Mingo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kingsley's guard. Nice move by Mingo!

Kingsley cracks Mingo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Mingo throws out a loose jab but Kingsley uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kingsley tries to counter with a takedown but Mingo is quick to defend against it.
Kingsley lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Kingsley throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kingsley is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mingo can do to turn this around?

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kingsley throws the left hand but Mingo avoids the punch easily.

Kingsley shoots in and drives through. Mingo sprawls well.
It seemed like Mingo was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Kingsley misses with a few strikes there.
Mingo throws a lazy right hand but Kingsley sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kingsley bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kingsley cracks Mingo with an open hand slap.
Mingo throws a nice looking combination but Kingsley bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kingsley shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mingo eats them both and turns towards Kingsley to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Kingsley lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mingo circles away quickly and effectively.
Kingsley shoots in for a takedown but Mingo shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Kingsley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mingo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Mingo lands a big right hand that sends Kingsley crashing to the mat! Mingo stays standing though and waves Kingsley back to his feet!

Mingo wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kingsley tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Mingo throws a body punch but Kingsley moves out of range.
Mingo throws out a loose jab but Kingsley uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mingo pounces like a tiger and cracks Kingsley with a vicious hook! Kingsley is down but not out! Mingo follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Hughtavious Mingo!
Hughtavious Mingo bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
