Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Quin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takem Downem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Downem swats away the attempt to clinch by Quin.

Quin forces Downem back against the cage and clinches.
Downem has a couple of punches blocked by Quin.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Quin creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Quin lands with a short shot to the head.
Quin lands a hook to the side of the head.
Downem can't get the takedown.
Our sources have told us that Quin has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Downem has Quin pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Quin manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Quin misses with a punch on the inside.
Quin lands a right hand.
Downem blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Downem has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Quin uses from the top position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Downem is trying to control the position but Quin postures up.
Quin has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Downem is proving hard to escape from.

Quin stands and steps away. Downem gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Quin moves in looking to clinch but Downem pushes him off.

Quin has Downem up against the cage in a clinch.
Downem misses with a hook to the ribs.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Quin.

Downem pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Quin rushes Downem and presses him up against the cage.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Quin.
Downem blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Quin prevents Downem from breaking the clinch.
Quin gets through Downem's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Downem's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Downem is rocked!
Downem swings wildly with an uppercut but Quin uses good head movement to avoid it.
Downem is still on wobbly legs! Can Quin finish him?
Quin lands a hook that snaps the head of Downem backwards.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Downem fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Alexander Quin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takem Downem.
Downem tries to circle away but Quin has him pinned against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Quin lands an uppercut.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Downem.
Downem is trying to break free.
Downem throws a punch but it's blocked by Quin.
Downem blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Downem ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Downem no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Quin stands up and waves to Downem to follow him.

Downem seems to have recovered his senses.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Quin creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Takem Downem has been cut.
Quin lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Downem to his knees! Quin keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
