The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cide gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Barnett wants a takedown.
Cide creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
A bit of stalling here from Cide.
Barnett jumps guard but Cide stands there with Barnett around his waist. Barnett gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Cide gets underhooks to prevent Barnett's takedown attempt.
Sewy Cide has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Barnett.

Cide lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

It looks like Brock Barnett has been cut.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barnett fails to pull guard.
Cide with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

That has opened up Brock Barnett's cut even more.

Cide seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
Barnett jumps guard but Cide turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Cide lands with a light punch inside.

Barnett tries to pull guard but Cide forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Cide throws a big uppercut that drops Barnett! More strikes from Cide and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Barnett lies dazed against the cage as Cide celebrates with his cornermen!
