The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Booth walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Verhoeven checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Booth misses the jab.

Booth lands with an uppercut that bounces Verhoeven off the ropes and back into range.
Booth throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
