Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ruiz Edinhio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darren Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Darren Burns was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Edinhio tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Burns just stands there and leans against the cage.

Edinhio shoots in for a takedown but Burns shows good takedown defense.
Burns is looking to clinch.
Edinhio looks to score with a jab to the body but Burns is just out of range.

Edinhio shoots in looking for a takedown. Burns tries to sprawl out of it but Edinhio keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Burns manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Burns has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Edinhio throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Burns's waist but Burns gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Edinhio off to one side.
