The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson misses with an uppercut
and Pearson counters with a left to the body.

It looks like James Pearson has been cut.
Johnson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Pearson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Johnson stands up over Pearson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Johnson drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Johnson as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Pearson screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Johnson! Nice submission victory there!
