Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Giorgio Palazzi!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Lou da Vinci and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palazzi shoots in for a double leg but McMac sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Palazzi shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Palazzi showed some decent athleticism there.
Palazzi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so McMac is just riding it out for now. Palazzi eventually gives up the hold.
McMac wants to control but Palazzi is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Palazzi wants to work for an arm triangle but McMac is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Palazzi is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! McMac is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
