Gonzalez comes to the cage accompanied by Why Cant we Be Friends!. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 34 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, January Kwiecinski!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kwiecinski moves out of range as Gonzalez strikes.
Kwiecinski connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A swing and a miss from Gonzalez.
A jab from Kwiecinski does it's job there.
Kwiecinski ducks under a wild hook from Gonzalez.
Kwiecinski takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Kwiecinski fails to land the takedown.
Gonzalez throws a leg kick
and Kwiecinski counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Jesus Gonzalez has been cut.
Gonzalez throws a lazy right hand but Kwiecinski sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Kwiecinski moves into range and clinches up with Gonzalez.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Kwiecinski.
Gonzalez swings wildly with an uppercut but Kwiecinski uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kwiecinski blocks an uppercut.
Gonzalez tries to work over Kwiecinski's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Kwiecinski putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Gonzalez in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kwiecinski makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Kwiecinski landing knees to the head.
Kwiecinski gets through Gonzalez's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Gonzalez is breathing heavily.
Gonzalez doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Kwiecinski lands a big right hand that drops Gonzalez! The killer instinct kicks in and Kwiecinski finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Kwiecinski!

A relieved looking January Kwiecinski thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
