Tavau drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Metaxas gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Metaxas is pressed up against the cage. Tavau has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Metaxas down to the mat. Metaxas avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Metaxas sends Tavau crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Metaxas is motioning to the referee to let Tavau up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Metaxas lands a big right hand that sends Tavau crashing to the mat! Metaxas stays standing though and waves Tavau back to his feet!
Metaxas walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Tavau drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Metaxas swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Tavau's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Atlas Metaxas!
Atlas Metaxas gave a mention to RAGS of a RONIN in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
Siva Tavau spoke after the fight, saying 'I beat myself tonight, I will look to improve on that.'.
