The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tessier throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Butorin tries to close the distance and clinch but Tessier swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Butorin moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromTessier.
Tessier gets tackled into the cage by Butorin. Butorin maintains the clinch.
Tessier just leaning against Butorin, taking a breather.
Tessier misses with an elbow over the top.

Butorin manages to break the clinch.
Tessier scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Butorin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Butorin on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Tessier thows a left - swing and a miss!
Butorin throws a head kick that misses.
Some wild striking there from Tessier.
Butorin changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Butorin throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tessier tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Butorin is in Tessier's guard.
Butorin wants to control from the top but Tessier keeps moving.
Butorin controls from within his opponent's guard.

Butorin trying to control but Tessier is working from the bottom.
Butorin won't allow Tessier to get back to his feet.
Butorin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Tessier is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Butorin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tessier is looking for the big counter here.

A left and a right from Tessier both land. Nice combination.
Butorin tries to clinch there but Tessier circles away.
Butorin tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tessier defends well and Butorin ends up having to push Tessier into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Butorin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tessier pinned against the cage. Tessier gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Tessier works over Butorin's head and body with a nice combination.
Butorin takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Butorin is rocked!
Oooooh!!! Tessier has knocked Butorin down with a huge combo! Tessier steps away and waves a wobbly Butorin back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Oh Butorin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like Ivan Butorin has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tessier takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Tessier tries to bum rush Butorin with a series of wild strikes but Butorin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Butorin throwing a counter right hand but Tessier manages to avoid it.
Tessier throws a right and a left that both miss.
Butorin is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Tessier.
Tessier connects with a stiff jab that staggers Butorin - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
