and Penn counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Penn crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lavronenko - the referee stops the clock and Penn gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lavronenko. Penn manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

It seemed like Penn was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

and Penn counters with a perfectly timed counter left hook that drops Lavronenko to the mat, face first! Penn goes to the neutral corner and waits for the referee to start the count. Lavronenko is back to hise feet already though and looking to continue the bout! Exciting stuff!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Penn lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lavronenko has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lavronenko and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Penn counters with a right hand that wobbles Lavronenko! He's out on his feet! Penn follows up with a left hook and a final right hand that knocks Lavronenko out cold! No need for a referee count here - this fight is all over! Penn jumps onto the ropes to celebrate with his corner.

A relieved looking Steel Penn thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
