Akuma Tanaka has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mariusz Pudzianowski's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pudzianowski works over Tanaka's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Akuma Tanaka has been cut.
Tanaka throws a head kick that misses.
Tanaka misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Pudzianowski gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Pudzianowski shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tanaka manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Pudzianowski scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pudzianowski is in close to Tanaka's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Pudzianowski postures up and lands a big shot to Tanaka's brow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pudzianowski stands and steps away. Tanaka gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Pudzianowski drops Tanaka with a beautiful combination! Tanaka stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pudzianowski is looking for the KO!

Tanaka is rocked!
Tanaka get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Tanaka stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Pudzianowski runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
