Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rogelio Haley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dasheed Graham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rogelio Haley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dasheed Graham!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Graham closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Haley did well to prevent Graham getting side control.

Haley manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Graham gets a clinch.
Haley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Graham pulls guard.
Graham keeping moving, preventing Haley from controlling successfully.
Graham is striking but Haley is not phased and passes to half guard.

Haley postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Graham to stand up.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Haley gets tackled into the cage by Graham. Graham maintains the clinch.

Haley breaks from the clinch.
Graham throws a low kick but Haley moves out of range easily.
Haley feinted there with a counter leg kick.

Haley darts in and clinches Graham up against the cage.
Graham fails to pull guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Graham is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Haley gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Haley prevents a takedown attempt there.
Rogelio Haley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dasheed Graham.
Haley wants a takedown but no success here.

Graham is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Haley can't fight it off and eventually Graham manages to take the fight to the floor. Haley looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Haley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Graham got a little sloppy there for a moment and Haley has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Graham has managed to get both his arms back between Haley's legs - danger averted.
Graham throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Haley works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Haley is working an open guard so Graham takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Graham fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Haley, pushing him back against the cage.

Haley decides to pull guard.

Haley manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Haley is looking to take this one to the mat.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Graham prevents the takedown attempt.
Graham swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Graham blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Haley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Graham shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Graham stops Haley from standing up.

Haley scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Graham fails with the takedown
and Haley counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Graham thinking.
Haley is breathing heavily.
Graham slaps away a takedown attempt from Haley, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Graham fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Haley sprawls well initially but Graham persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Haley kicks off Graham and gets to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Haley avoids the head kick by Graham.
As Graham looks to move away, Haley throws a big counter combo but Graham just gets out of the way.

Graham moves into the clinch.

Graham breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Graham misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Graham is looking to land body kicks.
Graham shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Haley as he avoids it easily.
Haley dives in and grabs Graham's left leg, looking for a takedown. Graham pushes down on Haley's head and hops out.

Haley moves into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rogelio Haley dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Graham lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Haley has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Haley and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Haley looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
A combination from Graham does no damage.

Haley has closed the distance and engaged Graham in a clinch.
Haley blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Graham is trying to pull guard but Haley turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Graham slows down the pace here.
Graham tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Haley just stands there and leans against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Graham breaks the clinch.
A combination from Graham does no damage.

Graham shoots in and bounces Haley off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Graham is breathing heavily.
Haley tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Haley is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Graham is controlling him.

Haley looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Graham has picked Haley up and slammed him! Haley can't keep hold of the triangle and Graham manages to pass to side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Graham is chipping away with strikes.
Haley sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Haley moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Rogelio Haley overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Haley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Graham's guard.

Graham can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Haley controls the pace.
Haley throws a big right hand that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Haley landing some decent shots from guard.

Graham is looking for a triangle here but Haley uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Haley tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Haley sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Graham is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Haley has hold of Graham's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Graham seems comfortable defending it but Haley has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Graham is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Graham is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Haley couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Rogelio Haley!
