Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stan Evans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris White !
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans ducks right into an uppercut from White .
Evans shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and White counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Evans has closed the distance and engaged White in a clinch.

White has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Evans is trying to keep an underhook but White manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Evans could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
White tries to pass the half guard into mount. Evans knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
White is thwarting Evans's attempts to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
White working Evans over with strikes.
White is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
White slows the pace down in half guard.
White looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Evans is looking for a sweep. White is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Evans is working hard here to advance position.
White trying to control from half guard but Evans is working away.
Evans is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Evans manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
White works over Evans with some ground and pound from guard.
Evans knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for White on the ground.
White lands a couple of elbows.
White sitting in guard, not really doing much.
White loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Evans is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

White has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Evans is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Evans lands a nice short elbow.
White wants to control but Evans is keeping busy.
Evans tries to stand but his hand is stuck under White .
White moves into full guard.
White trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Evans lands a couple of decent looking shots.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
White looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

White looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Evans passes into side control.
Evans throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Evans working away.
White is looking to regain half guard here but Evans keeps moving and retains side control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
White on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
White manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Chris White will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



White shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. White showed some decent athleticism there.

Evans wants to control but White is keeping busy and won't allow it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Evans is defending against the submission attempts here by White .
Evans is trying to defend against the ground and pound but White scores with a couple of nice shots.

White throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Evans tries to get to full guard but White has control of the leg.

Evans avoiding damage under a succession of punches from White .
White has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

White thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Evans's head.
Evans wants to get back to his feet.
Still in half guard, White seems content to control.
White not landing any meaningful shots this time.

White looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
White lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
White works his foot free and advances to mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
White fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
White looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
White cracks Evans with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.


Evans is rocked!
White is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Evans can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Oh Evans is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Evans might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
White lands a big shot to the head and Evans winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Chris White !
