Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hardon Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Almeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas Almeda will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hardon Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Thomas Almeda!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jonathan Paton and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee misses with a body kick.
Almeda lands with an uppercut that bounces Lee off the cage and back into range.
Almeda moves out of range as Lee strikes.
Almeda tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lee swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lee fails with the takedown
and Almeda counters with a right hand to the body.

Lee clinches up with Almeda and pushes him back against the cage.

Lee turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lee manages to end up in side control.
Lee prevents Almeda from escaping the position.

Lee cracks Almeda with an elbow. That is naaassty.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lee lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Lee controlling the position from side mount.

Lee is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Almeda knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Almeda wants to get back to his feet but Lee drags him back down.
Almeda really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lee cracks Almeda with a big elbow.
Lee happy to just control the position for now.
Almeda is pushing Lee's head away, looking to escape. Lee manages to hold on to the position though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lee is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Almeda wants to get back to his feet.
Almeda is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Almeda is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Lee asserts his dominance and retains side control.
You can see the frustration on Almeda's face as Lee controls the position.

Lee is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Almeda looks calm but he's in trouble here. Lee gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Almeda is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Lee lets go of the hold and Almeda can pop his arm back in it's socket.
