Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Philip Farmery!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jon Snyder !
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Roberts and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farmery fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Snyder on the side of the head.
Farmery stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Farmery wants it to stay on the feet.
Farmery feinted with a counter takedown.
Farmery cracks Snyder with a good jab.
Farmery moves into range and clinches up with Snyder .
Farmery has hold of one of Snyder 's legs. Snyder is fighting the takedown attempt but Farmery gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Farmery trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Farmery drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Farmery jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Snyder not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Snyder looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Farmery thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Farmery passes Snyder 's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Farmery is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Snyder really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Farmery. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Snyder is trying to maintain the position but Farmery is very close to passing his half guard.
Farmery looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Well, if Farmery is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Farmery is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Snyder is just riding it out for now. Farmery eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Farmery is looking to take a break and control but Snyder is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Farmery works his way into full mount!
Farmery has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Snyder 's face.
Snyder takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Farmery lands a big shot there that rocks Snyder but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Farmery is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Snyder has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Farmery looking for a guillotine from mount but Snyder is having none of it.

Farmery cracks Snyder with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Farmery jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Snyder manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Farmery throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Farmery is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Snyder knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Farmery working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Farmery wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Snyder , who protects the arm well.

Farmery is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Snyder is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Snyder takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Farmery is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Snyder is trying to escape and Farmery transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Snyder is forced to tap! Nice work there by Farmery! Very nice indeed!
