The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ibisevicz looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Ibisevicz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ibisevicz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Garner drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ibisevicz sprawls and moves away.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ibisevicz is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Garner has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Garner works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Ibisevicz slaps away a takedown attempt from Garner, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Garner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ibisevicz tries to avoid it but Garner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ibisevicz to the ground. Ibisevicz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Garner is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ibisevicz can do to turn this around?

Ibisevicz lands with a nice combination. Garner backs away looking to recover.
Garner looks to land a right hand but Ibisevicz moved out of range.

Ibisevicz wants to slow Garner down by chopping away at his legs.
Garner drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ibisevicz sprawls and moves away.
Ibisevicz throws a low kick, looking for Garner's leg but Garner calmly moves out of range.
Garner half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Garner feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Garner is standing up over Ibisevicz. Ibisevicz looks to escape but Garner dives into side control.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Garner here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Ibisevicz squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Ibisevicz is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Garner trying to control but Ibisevicz is having none of it.
Garner lands a nice shot to the head.
Garner lands a big shot there that rocks Ibisevicz but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

BOOM! Garner connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Garner cracks Ibisevicz with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Ibisevicz tries to improve his position but Garner has taken his back! Garner has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Ibisevicz tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Garner pushes Ibisevicz away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
