The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Auf drops his hands momentarily and Hug takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Auf lands with a nice body punch.
Auf throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hug.
Auf swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Auf throws a right and a left that both miss.
It looked like Hug wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Hug fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Auf, pushing him back against the cage.
Hug lands a body shot.
A nice left hand lands by Hug.
Auf working hard to break the clinch.
A shot in the inside from Hug.
Hug scores with a shot to the side of Auf's head.

Auf is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hug swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Auf is still on wobbly legs! Can Hug finish him?

Auf seems to have recovered his senses.
Hug pushes Auf back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Hug misses with a punch on the inside.
Hug lands a hook that snaps the head of Auf backwards.
Hug creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Auf with a big uppercut! Auf tries to clinch up but Hug pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Auf to the mat! Auf covers up and Hug unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Bear Hug!
After winning the bout, Bear Hug thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
