Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Repe Sorsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sorsa is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Like a Bunny. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Repe Sorsa!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sorsa keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kim shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sorsa pinned against the cage. Sorsa gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sorsa avoids a kick to the body.
Sorsa fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Sorsa uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kim.
A countering left hand to the body from Sorsa misses.
Kim shoots in but no luck this time.
A nice inside leg kick there by Sorsa. That's going to slow Kim down.
Sorsa ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kim throws a body shot but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kim has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sorsa throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Kim wants to escape the position.
Sorsa throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

You can see the frustration on Kim's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Kim tries to move into range but Sorsa moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Kim wants to control but Sorsa is keeping him busy.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
No joy there for Sorsa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kim throws a hook to the side of Sorsa's head but Sorsa sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Kim shoots in looking for a takedown but Sorsa manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kim's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Repe Sorsa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kim chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sorsa can pounce on him.

Sorsa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sorsa shoots in looking for a takedown. Kim tries to sprawl out of it but Sorsa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kim manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sorsa displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kim.
Kim throws the left hand but Sorsa avoids the punch easily.
Kim walks forward, straight into a front kick from Sorsa.
Kim is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

It looks like Repe Sorsa has been cut.
Sorsa lands with an uppercut that bounces Kim off the cage and back into range.

And Kim counters with a quick kick to the body but Sorsa blocks it.

Sorsa rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kim moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kim is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Kim keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sorsa.
Kim throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A left lands for Sorsa.
Kim misses with a takedown attempt
and Sorsa counters with a stiff right hand.

Sorsa dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kim. That did some damage!
Kim takes a shot right to the bread basket.

and Sorsa counters with a leg kick.
Sorsa lands a glancing blow to the side of Kim's head.
Kim closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Sorsa has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Kim is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kim lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

And that's the end of the fight!
Repe Sorsa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Sorsa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
