The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assad misses with a left hand
and Clements counters with a two punch combo.
Clements really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Assad instigates a clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Clements.

Clements gets control of Assad's arms and successfully pulls guard. Clements will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Assad controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Clements will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Assad working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Clements's head.
Clements utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Assad works over Clements with some ground and pound from guard.
Clements is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Clements has momentary wrist control but Assad slips an elbow through the middle.

Assad stands up over Clements, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Oh Clements is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Assad loads up on a big left hand. Clements felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Assad looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Clements can't hide his disappointment, as Assad celebrates the victory.
