Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Damien Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Birchack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anthony Birchack is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anthony Birchack!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Law shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Birchack looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Law puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Law is working for a submission of some sort.
Birchack is looking for a sweep. Law is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Birchack is staying active underneath Law, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Birchack can do anything to dispel that myth.
Birchack isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Law stacks Birchack on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Law!
Law remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Law is trying to remain composed but Birchack is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Damien Law will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Birchack avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Birchack drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Law defends it well.
Law has closed the distance and engaged Birchack in a clinch.
Birchack wants to take the fight to the mat but Law manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
