PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Dick Cheese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Huot Phutong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phutong has chosen Cambodia music as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cheese throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Phutong on the side of the head.

The crowd cheers as Cheese lands an impressive looking overhand right. Phutong doesn't seem phased though.

Phutong ducks into a a hook from Cheese and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!

Cheese cracks Phutong with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Phutong is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Phutong is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
Phutong walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Dick Cheese!
Dick Cheese decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
In defeat, Huot Phutong stepped up to the mic, saying 'Thank MMA Tycoon!'.
