The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xavier moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
King lands a nice shot that snaps Xavier's head back.
King waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Xavier.

Xavier drives through and clinches with King against the cage.
Xavier gets through King's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
King is looking to break free of the clinch but Xavier has double underhooks.

Xavier breaks from the clinch.
Xavier misses with a left hand
and King counters with a nice uppercut.
Xavier lands with an uppercut that bounces King off the cage and back into range.
Xavier looks to throw the jab but King is out of range.
Xavier gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Stephen King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice jab there from King.
King throws a shot from downtown. Xavier moves away and avoids it.
It seemed like Xavier was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
King scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
King pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Xavier back to the cage. King follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Xavier throws a sloppy head kick and King moves out of range easily.

King scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

King shoots in looking for a takedown but Xavier manages to keep the fight standing, pushing King's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Xavier seems to have recovered his senses.

Joao Vitor Xavier is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
King uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Xavier.
King moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
King is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Xavier.

It looks like Stephen King has been cut.
King swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
King walks into a jab.
King looks to land a combination but Xavier avoids it well.

A little jabbing left from Xavier on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

and Xavier counters with a nice uppercut.
