The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from McDick.

McDick is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
McDick is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

McDick wants to sweep but no luck.

It looks like Jo is going to stand back up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
McDick throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jo's waist but Jo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McDick off to one side.
