and Butcher counters with a three punch combo that has Smith backing up. Smith nods at Butcher to acknowledge the strikes.
Butcher throws a jab when Smith was well out of range.
Butcher throws a hook but Smith blocks it.
Butcher avoids the head kick by Smith.
Butcher misses with a hook.
Smith digs a good hook to Butcher's body.
A slapping leg kick lands for Smith.
Smith takes a jab right on the kisser.
Smith takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Smith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Smith misses with a straight left.
Butcher avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
