Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bang Pitung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samak Tiyapairat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pitung's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sir Dandy - Jakarta Motor City. Tiyapairat has chosen Ram Muay as his entrance music. Samak Tiyapairat has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Pitung misses.
Tiyapairat looks to score with a jab to the body but Pitung is just out of range.
Tiyapairat scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Tiyapairat steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pitung.
Pitung uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Tiyapairat gets a clinch.
Tiyapairat tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Pitung avoids it.
Pitung avoids the elbow strike from Tiyapairat, against the cage.
Pitung escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tiyapairat looks to score with a jab to the body but Pitung is just out of range.

Tiyapairat throws an overhand right that lands on Pitung's shoulder, as Pitung tries to avoid the shot.
Pitung fires out a quick counter leg kick but Tiyapairat just manages to avoid it.

and Pitung counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Tiyapairat lands with a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pitung looks to land a combination. Tiyapairat sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Samak Tiyapairat has been cut.
Tiyapairat fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Tiyapairat tries to clinch up
and Pitung cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

A slow jab from Tiyapairat misses its intended target.
Pitung throws out a loose jab but Tiyapairat uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tiyapairat looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Pitung takes a swing at Tiyapairat's ribcage but misses.
A punch lands to the side of Pitung 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Pitung cracks a nice hook into Tiyapairat's ribs.
Tiyapairat is looking to clinch but Pitung is avoiding it.

Tiyapairat throws a right hand that misses
and Pitung counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Pitung drops Tiyapairat with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Tiyapairat! Pitung dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
