And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Samuel Kravac!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kravac slips a straight right by McCullen.

Kravac shoots for a double leg takedown but McCullen sprawls well. He's pushed Kravac's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kravac scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
McCullen is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Forest Hill Gym , so we'll see if he gets out of it.
You can see the frustration on McCullen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Kravac misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
McCullen regains half guard there - taking advantage of Kravac's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Kravac wants to work for an arm triangle but McCullen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McCullen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kravac is trying to control. McCullen wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
McCullen is doing well to control the position and prevent Kravac from advancing to side control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kravac is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so McCullen is just riding it out for now. Kravac eventually gives up the hold.

McCullen is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kravac off and has taken his back!

McCullen wants to stand up but Kravac has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Kravac pushes a forearm under McCullen's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, McCullen is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
