Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zach Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Corona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Juan Corona will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Corona really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wayne. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Wayne shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Corona pinned against the cage. Corona gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Corona throws a good cross that connects.
Nice straight punches there by Corona. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Corona.
Wayne shoots in looking for a takedown but Corona manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wayne's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wayne shoots for a double leg takedown but Corona sprawls well. He's pushed Wayne's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zach Wayne. That's going to take a lot out of him.
