The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKenzie avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Malcoms has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Malcoms there as he acknowledges the shot.
Malcoms uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McKenzie.
Malcoms takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Malcoms keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McKenzie.
McKenzie throws a jab when Malcoms was well out of range.
Malcoms ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McKenzie moves away.

Malcoms throws a quick inside leg kick.
McKenzie looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Malcoms ! But no joy.
McKenzie misses with a looping right.

Malcoms throws a lazy right hand but McKenzie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Malcoms avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Malcoms displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McKenzie throws out the jab.
Malcoms is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McKenzie.
A jab from McKenzie finds it's way through Malcoms 's defenses.
McKenzie cracks Malcoms with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
McKenzie cracks Malcoms with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

McKenzie scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Malcoms doesn't seem bothered though.
Malcoms is still on wobbly legs! Can McKenzie finish him?

Malcoms lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
McKenzie throws a lazy uppercut
letting Malcoms counter with a right hand.

McKenzie just misses with a punch to the body.
Malcoms seems to have recovered his senses.
McKenzie fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Some bone on bone action there as McKenzie checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
McKenzie connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Malcoms momentarily.
Malcoms misses with a hook. McKenzie ducked under it nicely.
A little feinted left hand from McKenzie on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
McKenzie rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Malcoms counters with a straight right hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from McKenzie. Malcoms does a little dance to reset his feet.
Malcoms throws a fast counter high kick but McKenzie manages to duck under it in time.
Cody McKenzie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Malcoms moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
McKenzie moves out of range as Malcoms throws a body kick.
Malcoms throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McKenzie sees it coming and avoids it easily.
McKenzie throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
McKenzie cracks Malcoms with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
McKenzie throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Malcoms stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
McKenzie dips to his left and cracks Malcoms with an uppercut!
Malcoms doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Malcoms throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McKenzie.
Malcoms feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to McKenzie's calf.

McKenzie swings for the body but Malcoms moves out of range.
Malcoms gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! McKenzie gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Malcoms is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
