The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White misses with a looping right.

Franco closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. White quickly recovers to half guard.
Franco passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for White !
White is desperately trying to improve his position but Franco has a good base and remains in mount.
Franco lands a big shot there that rocks White but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

White is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
White is bucking up trying to escape but Franco cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Franco prevents White from getting the reversal.
White sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Franco working over White with some ground and pound. White looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

White is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Franco's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Franco's back!

White looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
