Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hosntial Auf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Elder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Hosntial Auf has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elder shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Auf as he jumps to the side.
Elder misses with a takedown
and Auf counters with a series of strikes. Elder will be more careful next time no doubt.
Auf defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Elder.
Hosntial Auf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Elder.
Elder finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Elder dives in and scores a takedown into Auf's guard.
Elder stops Auf from standing up.
Elder throws an elbow that misses. Auf uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Elder's guard. Nice move by Auf!

Auf would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Elder wants to sweep here but Auf controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Auf knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Elder on the ground.

It looks like Elder might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Elder sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Auf's guard.
Elder perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Auf blocking the ground and pound attempt from Elder.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Auf looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Sloppy strikes from Elder. Those never looked like landing.

That was a close round but I would say that Hosntial Auf will probably get the nod.

Auf throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Elder.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Auf ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Auf lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Elder backs up against the cage.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Auf here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

and Auf counters with a one-two to the body.

Elder closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Auf throws Elder to one side and escapes!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Auf feints a jab promting Elder to slip. Auf then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Elder slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Auf fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Auf stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Auf wants it to stay on the feet.

Elder's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Auf connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Elder scrambles back to his feet.
Auf moves into range and connects with a jab.
Auf scores with a one two! Elder had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Elder tries for a takedown but Auf sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Auf lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Auf.

Auf throws a nice looking combination but Elder bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Auf gets caught flat footed, as Elder shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Auf misses with a wild combination.

Elder closes this distance looking for a takedown but Auf circles away.
Auf tries to bum rush Elder with a series of wild strikes but Elder uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Auf lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Auf is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Elder can do to turn this around?

Elder has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Auf should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Elder has tightened it up now! Auf should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
